Não gosto particularmente do Manchester City. Porque tem um "jogador" que odeio (o Balotelli), porque, atirando pela janela o seu historial, vendeu-se a um "barão",e porque concorre com o United, clube esse sim, que pelo seu historial merece respeito.

Agora, e depois de parecer ter sido eliminado da champions num jogo com o Ajax (parece que com alguma razão), conclui-se não ter havido quaisquer incidentes...

Isto depois de Arséne Wenger, um Senhor do futebol, ter sido agraciado há uns tempos, com uma multa e uma suspensão, por razões que em nada se comparam com o que aconteceu agora, com o City.

Até em Inglaterra...

Manchester City to face no Uefa action for Ajax confrontations

• Officials did not mention angry protests in match report
• Roberto Mancini confronted referee over disallowed goal

Neither Roberto Mancini, Mario Balotelli, nor any other Manchester City player, will face action from Uefa after the match delegate and referee did not mention their furious protests at the end of City's 2-2 home draw with Ajax on Tuesday.
A Uefa spokesperson told the Guardian: "Nothing was reported neither by the delegate nor by the referee. No disciplinary proceedings are opened."
Peter Rasmussen, the Danish referee, was subjected to an angry protest at the close of a game that all but eliminated City from the Champions League. Samir Nasri, Matija Nastasic, Aleksandar Kolarov – who could be heard swearing – and Sergio Agüero were among other City players who crowded the official after he had denied them a penalty when Balotelli appeared to be pulled back in the area at the end of second-half stoppage time. Before that, Rasmussen had also ruled out an Agüero strike when Kolarov was adjudged offside, despite the Serbian appearing to be onside.
Balotelli had to be pulled back from Rasmussen by Vincent Kompany, the City captain, while Mancini rounded on an ITV cameraman having finished his furious questioning of Ramussen.

The failure of these incidents to be mentioned by Rasmussen or the match delegate is a surprise. Two seasons ago, Arsène Wenger received a one-match suspension and a €10,000 (£8,000) fine for approaching Massimo Busacca and calling him "embarrassing" after the referee sent off Robin van Persie in Arsenal's 3-1 defeat at Barcelona. Nasri, then at the Emirates, was handed the same ban for his own disparaging remarks regarding the official.
